  • Deakin University, Melbourne Burwood Campus HD2.006 Richard Searby Room Burwood, VIC 3125 Australia (map)

Want to build an app?

Learn from Jason Noorman, Director of Innovation at Telstra who has a passion for leading innovation and creating products and services people actually want to use and pay for.

This hands-on workshop will teach you how to easily create a minimum user interface for a mobile device to test and evaluate your business idea. Together you will learn about the different parts of an app, write your first simple code and use free and open source APIs to create your mobile app.

You will learn how to deliver mobile APIs for mobile apps using a real-life Android app by placing buttons & labels on our screen, adding images, and learning about the scroll window.

This workshop is designed for people that have no previous understanding about app coding and want to develop a basic user interface to sell their mobile app to users, partners and investors.

Jason has a strong people, design and technology focus which has allowed him to influence and lead highly motivated teams of agile/lean project managers, design thinkers, UI/UX designers, developers and quality assurance professionals.

Limited to 25 participants and the $10 registrations fee is refunded upon attendance.
