Warrnambool Startup Weekend

SPARK Deakin and the Latrobe Regional Accelerator are offering a two-day selective and intensive workshop covering all the basics of entrepreneurship. Limited spaces available.

Application Process and Eligibility - Anyone is able to apply. You may already have an existing business, starting from scratch or still be studying.

Selection based on application – A simple application process will determine which applicants will be shortlisted. We are looking for people who are passionate about solving real-world problems  in their rural community. You should be pro-active, passionate, driven and innovative change-makers who are willing to learn.

The workshops are designed to teach you the fundamentals of entrepreneurial concepts that you can use to build your own business from scratch or use to grow your existing one.

Gain the confidence to get started discussing your business ideas with others and learn what you need to do next.

The program offers basic multi-disciplinary knowledge across various business concepts, and the key issues and challenges you are likely to face as you grow.

Participants can bring their own laptop for note taking if they prefer, otherwise bring a notepad and a pen.

Catering and beverages will be provided.

About the Presenter:

International entrepreneur and business expert Adam Davies will be facilitating the program. As the current Program Lead for the University of Oxford’s Entrepreneurship Program, he has an incredible amount of practical knowledge of the startup ecosystem to share. Adam has extensive experience in advising and mentoring entrepreneurs on their startup ideas having previously developed curriculum and delivered entrepreneurship programs at the London School of Business. He has been the Entrepreneur in Residence/Mentor at We Work, Techstars and Microsoft Ventures in London.
