Dr Svetha Venkatesh, SPARK Deakin Program Director and Alfred Deakin Professor will host the evening and be available to answer any questions. Her research has led to the development of technologies in large scale pattern recognition that have been exemplified across 346 publications and led to two spin off startup companies – iCetana and Toby Autism Therapy. iCetana is based on intelligent video surveillance to find anomalies in video data which recently raised $8m funding and Toby Autism Therapy which provides a new way to accelerate early intervention for children with Autism utilising an app.

Shahed Kamal, Founder of Collabhero and 2016 SPARK Deakin Accelerator alumni will present his tips on a successful application, and share his journey throughout the accelerator program.
